teamLab通過藝術作品《Matter is Void》，探索着所有權的概念。

這是一個NFT作品。這個作品只有一個NFT，但這並不意味着它是獨一無二的。無論是誰無論是多少人，都可以下載並擁有這件作品。換句話說，無論是否擁有該作品的NFT，被下載的作品都是相同的，它們都是真品。

作品顯示的是由teamLab選擇的文字“Matter is Void”。只有NFT所有者可以任意修改文字，而修改後的文字將反映在世界各地的人下載的作品中。

根據NFT所有者選擇的文字，作品的價值將發生變化。如果NFT所有者改寫的文字具有價值，更多的人可能會選擇擁有該作品；而如果這些文字不具有價值，人們可能不再選擇展示該作品。改寫一個很多人看的作品的文字可能有很大的價值，反之，改寫一個不受人關注的作品的文字則沒有什麼價值。這也就是說，根據NFT所有者改寫的文字，這件NFT作品的價值也可能發生變化。

此外，即使NFT所有者在將文字改寫成其他文字后，重新將其改回 "Matter is Void"，這些文字也會呈現出不同於初始的狀態。最初的 "Matter is Void "一旦被修改，將無法再看到相同的狀態。

被寫在作品中的文字，會不斷地公轉和自轉。不停旋轉的文字，我們也許能在某些角度認出它們，也可能會在某些瞬間辨認出文字的整體含義，接着它們又會再一次變回難以辨認的文字。文字的公轉，在視覺上既是順時針的，又是逆時針的，它會隨着觀賞者的意識，呈現向左方向或向右方向旋轉的形態。
